pongowowoyoonMount Kinabalu from Kundasang Town.jpg
What better way to start off my day here in the agricultural town of Kundasang then watching the sun rise over the town, with the famed Mt. Kinabalu as the backdrop. I carefully made my way up to the roadside of Sinisian Road, where there was a pleasant sidewalk overlooking the town and the majestic granite pinnacle.
I and a few other travelers waited patiently as the orange sunrays progressively moved across the landscape. The orange-tinged mountainscape was spectacular, and we only had a few brief minutes to take it all in before the sunlight turned more whitish.
I highly recommended to all visitors to watch the sunrise from this location. Sacrificing an hours' sleep for this is worth it (or hey, just tug in earlier the night before).
